Beautiful birds abound in Asia and I could not resist the lure of photographing them, in fact it was, after underwater photography, my first photographic love !
This led directly to rising at insane hours and traipsing for long hours at some spectacular locations, from China to Borneo and from Nepal to Bhutan. I have a lot to thank birding, and photography in general, for the effect they have had on my life.
